Artwork by Makayla Cambiano.

For the second year in a row, a Winnetonka senior’s artwork was selected to represent the Senatorial District 17 and hang in the Capitol building in Jefferson City. Succeeding 2018 graduate Harper Ross’ induction, Makayla Cambiano’s work, which portrays one half of a girl’s face made up of various materials, was chosen by Senator Lauren Arthur and will be displayed from Feb. 3 to the end of the year as a part of the Senate Student Art Exhibit. The award ceremony will be held in March.
