Over the past weekend, the boys swim and dive team competed in a swim meet against North Kansas City, Staley and Oak Park high schools at Gladstone Community Center. Seniors Brennen Johnson, JJ Greer, Demarco Mina, and Brady Jewell competed in the 200 and 400 relays.

Johnson broke 2 school records at the meet. He beat his own school record in the 100 breaststroke and broke an 8 year old school record in the 100 butterfly.

“I was extremely happy and proud of myself,” Johnson said. “especially given the circumstances given this year. It’s incredible to think I’ve actually broken 2 records and that my name will be displayed until the next person comes, but that could be in another 10 years who knows.”
