Harlem renaissance research

Senior Sumaia Juma finishes her presentation of her Harlem Renaissance project in ELA teacher Stephanie Healy’s classroom on Feb. 6. Students worked during three class periods to complete projects about the Harlem Renaissance. They had to have a paper brochure and a paper summary ready to present about the Renaissance.

“The Harlem Renaissance was a very interesting topic,” Juma said. “While I was doing my research for my project I learned a lot about it.”
