Sophomore Christianna Willett high-fives her “little buddy” at the Winnetonka Cheer Clinic in the Winnetonka auxiliary gym, where future Griffin cheerleaders came to learn moves from the cheerleaders themselves. Future Griffins get to practice cheers and dances with the Winnetonka cheerleaders and in the evening they get to perform their cheers and dances in front of their parents. The next day, the Griffins have a varsity basketball game that the children and cheerleaders get to perform at.

“It’s really an amazing time getting to partner up with future Griffins,” Willett said. “I love cheering and when I get to see kids who love cheering as much as I do, it brings a smile to my face.”
