Poets in the making

While watching other classmates perform their poetry in ELA class on Mar. 15, sophomores Max Hook and Akon Tong grab a drink of hot chocolate. Students in Melissa Camarda’s honors class during the 4th block on A days were asked to perform one poem that they had wrote to share with the class during the poetry lounge. Prior to the event, students spent several weeks in class and outside of school writing their poems.
“It gave a lot of insight into the outside lives of our classmates,” Hook said.
