Senior Emily Noyes moved from Platte County freshman year. She did not join journalism until her junior year and is now the Design editor for the Griffin Rites newspaper.
“This year I really want to make our layout better and improve my writing,” Noyes said.
Noyes admits that she was not entirely involved in her entrance into journalism.
“Emily Elliott and Amber Murray kind of forced me into journalism. Now looking back, I am glad they did,” Noyes said.
After she graduates she would like to continue journalism or pursue a career as a zoo veterinarian.
“My goal is to work for Buzz feed because they write both cool stories and important news stories,” Noyes said.
