The “AIDA” cast shows students from Maple Park Middle School’s theatre department around backstage. After the younger students saw a matinee performance, high school theater students showed them the stage, how the lights worked, how they moved the set and gave tips on how to perform on stage.

“It felt amazing to be an inspiration to them,” freshman Jordon Prince said. “The kids were so open-minded and respectful. It was a really cool experience.”
