Tonkanews announced as finalist for Pacemaker award

The NSPA [National Scholastic Press Association] announced Tonkanews as a finalist in the 2017 Online Pacemaker competition on Mar. 9. Tonkanews is managed by senior editor-and-chief Rachel Adamson and the Griffin Rites staff. Adamson and her staff will be recognized at the national journalism convention in Seattle on Apr. 6-9.
