Mali hotel attack

This morning it was reported that gunmen took dozens hostage at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Mali Africa, leaving three dead.

According to KMBC, the situation began around 7 a.m. when two to three attackers entered the hotel with AK-47 rifles and fired gunshots.

There is conflicting information of who and how many people were in the hotel, but it was reported that two Malian nationals and a French National are dead.

The hotel is know for hosting international guests, such as business people. According to the US Africa Command, six of the hostages were American citizens.

All the hostages have been set free, however at least six people have been injured and are hospitalized at Gabriel Toure University Hospital at the nation’s capital.
