Sophomore Ciara Arena is a writer on the Griffin Rites staff aspiring to be a professional journalist.
“I’m excited to get a jumpstart on my journalism career,” Arena said. “I know this will benefit me in the future.”
Her dream is to travel and write about it while doing so. She hopes to get the chance to go to University of Missouri in Columbia to study journalism.
Her favorite school subject is math, and she plays softball. She has also been involved with the track team in the past.
She looks forward to spending her sophomore year on staff and believes that it will help her become more familiar with the school and the people around her.
“It’ll help me feel more open to my surroundings and peers,” Arena said.
